As our great country was growing and expanding so were the different needs of the typical small town grocery stores in the early part of the century. Our company was founded to fill these needs by our great founders H.W. Dippel and Adolph Fischer in the year 1905. This new business operated as a partnership from 1905 until 1909. In March of  1909, a charter was obtained from the State of Texas and the Company became known as the Brenham Wholesale Grocery Company, Inc., and H.W. Dipple was named the first Company President. The company moved to its current facility in 1959, after many expansions and increased growth.

Throughout our growth, the belief in our customer needs come first, has never changed. Our management feels that this single factor is what directly contributes to our success. Our small town atmosphere of "Knowing your customers as you would your Neighbor", has established unheard of customer loyalty. We have been servicing the majority of our customers for over thirty years.

Our employees, that do the work of supporting our customers are the major reason for our continued success. Many have grown-up with the company and some are members of second and third generation families that have worked for the firm.

Brenham Wholesale Grocery is a Company with a proud past of steady growth and accomplishment. It is also a Company that is building and adapting today to provide continued growth and a bright and secure future.
