In 1905, H.W. Dippel and Adolph Fischer formed a partnership in Brenham, Texas to serve the needs of the typical early 20th century small town grocery in Central Texas. Officially chartered as a corporation with the State of Texas in 1909, Brenham Wholesale Grocery has provided quality product and service to Texas grocery and convenience stores for over 100 years.

The industry has changed dramatically in the past century, and Brenham Wholesale Grocery has been there through it all. From local supplier to major distributor, BWG now services convenience stores, small-town groceries, big-city supermarkets, and the food service industry throughout greater Texas.

The key to our success has been our ability to combine new technology and modern distribution systems with a simple, old-time customer service philosophy that would make our founders proud.

This simple concept, paired with quality products, have established unheard of customer loyalty. Many of our customers have been with us for over thirty years.
